To play the G#6 chord, perform a barre by pressing your index finger on the top g-string and E-string on the 1st fret, ring finger on the 3rd fret of the C-string, and little finger on the 3rd fret of the bottom A-string.

The Ab6 chord (also known as the G#6 chord) contains the notes Ab-C-Eb-F.
