To build a Bbdim7 chord, take the fully diminished seventh chord formula (1-b3-b5-bb7) and apply it to the Bb major scale (Bb, C, D, Eb, F, G, A). The "bb7" indicates a double flat seventh, meaning you lower the seventh scale degree two half steps.
Identify the first, flat third, flat fifth, and double flat seventh scale degrees in the Bb major scale which are Bb-Db-Fb-G. In this case, the Fb note is the enharmonic equivalent of an E note.
